This week's featured pets from the St. Tammany Humane Society!
Sarah is a 1 year old yellow lab. Recently, the staff of the St. Tammany Humane Society arrived one morning to find Sarah tied to the front gate/entrance. There was a note attached to the gate speaking on her behalf. It read: Hello my name is Sarah. I am very sweet, but dreadfully shy and timid. Please take care of me and find me a good home. So that is what we here at the Humane Society are trying to do... find Sarah a good home. She is now being fostered by a kind lady who is trying to socialize Sarah and build her confidence.
Simonis a 1 and a half year old medium hair domestic cat. He has unique beautiful markings that some say make his coat look like a patchwork quilt of yellow, white, and gray. Simon has been with the Humane Society for a few months. Although he is a very friendly kitty, a dog lover he is not. So if you have canine companions at home, Simon may not be the cat for you; otherwise he fits the description of "fantastic feline."
